Join us for a day of learning. This year's sessions will focus on communicating, competence, procurement, legislation, policy and so much more. Speaker sessions include:

  • Jaclyn Mangaroo - The Property Institute

The latest TPI and industry news plus a look at policy, legislation and regulation.

  • Competence in Action – Building Assurance Through Competence to Compliance. Shaun Lundy - Tetra

Exploring how clear competence standards, robust compliance processes, and effective oversight create safer buildings and better outcomes. Drawing on lessons from recent examples and changes legislation and standards, this session will highlight practical steps organisations can take to raise the bar in building safety

Procurement with Purpose – Driving Safety and Value from Day One. Mark Snelling – Safetymark

This session will explore how early, informed decisions in procurement influence safety, compliance, and whole-life value, ensuring the right people, products, and processes are in place from the outset.

From Paper to Practice – Real-World Lessons in Competence, Compliance & Procurement

Shaun and Mark will present a series of case studies illustrating how competence, compliance, and procurement decisions play out in real projects, the successes, the challenges, and the lessons learned for safer, smarter outcomes.

  • Shelley Jacobs – Michael Laurie Magar

In an industry flooded with emails, written communication, legal jargon and urgent queries, poor communication doesn’t just waste time - it breeds confusion and adds unnecessary stress.

This session will share practical strategies and insights to help you communicate more clearly, save time, and support your wellbeing, enabling you to flourish and be a better communicator.

  • Roger Hardwick & Emma Bush - Brethertons

Looking at the latest cases and legislation.

  • Most property managers already manage a heat network - even if they don’t realise it. This session will break down heat networks in plain English: what they are, who’s accountable and what you must do now to prepare for Ofgem and HNTAS. You’ll come away with clarity on your role, confidence in your next steps and practical tools for budgeting, preparation and supporting your residents.
