King’s Speech Confirms Renter’s Reform and Plans to End Leasehold

On 5th July 2024, following the appointment of Angela Rayner as Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, TPI along with the British Property Federation, Federation of Private Residents Association, Propertymark, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors sent a joint letter to congratulate her and express their support.

The Property Institute (TPI) has long collaborated with the Government to ensure competent, safe, and ethical management of tall and complex buildings.
