Passionate about raising standards across the property management sector, Andrew has been instrumental in shaping the industry’s future. A Fellow of both RICS and The Property Institute, he began his career in PRS and leasehold management before serving as UK Residential Director at RICS. Former CEO of IRPM, Andrew led the organisation through its merger with ARMA and became CEO of The Property Institute. He now focuses on ethical leadership and sector-wide impact, while continuing to elevate the role of property professionals nationwide.

Turning complex building challenges into practical solutions, Andrew brings together expertise in building safety, fire safety and building pathology. A Chartered Building Surveyor and member of both RICS (MRICS) and the Institution of Fire Engineers (AIFireE), he also holds specialist qualifications in External Wall Assessment and Damp, Mould & Condensation. Working across residential and commercial property, Andrew helps owners, managing agents and developers navigate building defects, compliance and safety with confidence. His pragmatic, risk-based approach combines technical insight with a strong understanding of building regulations and fire safety to protect assets, improve performance and deliver safer buildings.

Recognised for her legal expertise in property management, Cassandra is regularly called upon to advise and represent clients across the country. A Fellow of The Property Institute (TPI) and an Associate of RICS, she actively contributes to TPI’s Leasehold and Commonhold Expert Group and serves as an honorary consultant to FPRA. Cassandra is also the lead author of Legally Speaking, a free online resource for property management professionals. She is known for her work on Tribunal matters and her passion for sharing knowledge within the sector remains central to her work.

A highly respected and trusted voice within health, safety, and fire risk management, Shaun is known for developing creative solutions that deliver meaningful, positive outcomes. A Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and Chartered Building Engineer, as well as a visiting academic and external examiner, he champions professional development, ethics, competence, and leadership across the industry. Shaun is TPI Board Member and IOSH President-Elect. He actively collaborates with the Institute’s Health & Safety Working Group and the IOSH Construction Group, exploring how emerging legislation shapes building safety practice and drives higher professional standards across the industry.

A champion of cultural change in wellbeing and leadership across the property sector. With a background in block management and expertise in business psychology, Shelley supports organisations in building healthier, higher performing teams. A qualified Business Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Coach, Shelley leads impactful training for The Property Institute (TPI) and contributes to best practice through the TPI Wellbeing Working Group, promoting awareness, inclusion, and sector-wide support.

Driving higher standards in water safety and Legionella control, Steven combines extensive technical expertise with hands-on experience across complex, high-profile environments. A Co-Author of CIBSE Guide M, he also helps shape industry practice through his work with the Water Management Society Council and Legionella Control Association Management Committee. Passionate about improving water systems management, Steven works closely with industry bodies and clients to turn technical knowledge into practical solutions. His collaborative approach supports organisations in strengthening Legionella control, managing risk and delivering safer, more robust water systems.
