TPI Scotland Connect 2025 aims to deliver a day of key sessions from expert speakers covering a wide range of topics. This not to be missed event will enhance your knowledge, give you practical takeaways and an insight into the future of TPI Scotland.

A Fellow of both RICS and The Property Institute, he began his career in PRS and leasehold management before serving as UK Residential Director at RICS. As former CEO of IRPM, Andrew led the organisation through its merger with ARMA and became CEO of The Property Institute. He now focuses on ethical leadership and sector-wide impact, while continuing to elevate the role of property professionals nationwide.

Founder of the fastest organically grown factoring organisation in Scotland’s history and now owner of a number of facility management service companies, David is central to the property management industry. Reflecting his extensive knowledge and leadership in the sector he currently serves as a Director of The Property Institute and regularly collaborators with Scottish Government, David is a strong advocate of organisational culture, values, and brand awareness, which he believes are central to long-term success, and maintaining a clear focus on delivering the highest standards.

Dominic MacConnell

With a hands-on approach to common building challenges, Dominic delivers high-impact solutions across insurance and building repair and maintenance. He has overseen landmark developments harnessing his 25 years plus experience in Quality and Building Surveying, Project management, and CDM Compliance. As TPI’s strategic lead for Policy and Communications, Jaclyn is a driving force in the residential property sector, bringing over 20 years’ senior expertise in corporate communications, media relations and public affairs. Since 2019, she has led campaigns that shape policy, raise TPI’s profile and promote best practice. Jaclyn is a trusted industry voice, forging strong stakeholder relationships, speaking on net zero, building safety and leasehold reform, and turning complex regulations into clear, practical guidance that helps members protect their businesses and stay compliant.

Jacqueline Borthwick

Managing Director – PFP

Bringing a wealth of hands-on experience in credit control, finance, and executive leadership within Scotland’s property factoring industry, Jacqueline is at the forefront of her field. Originally playing a key role as Head of Finance at Life Property Management she progressed, post acquisition, onto becoming Executive Director of Client Funds at James Gibb where she strengthened her expertise in managing client finances and safeguarding client interests. Today, Jacqueline runs a consultancy business, providing specialist advice to the factoring industry and beyond, helping organisations navigate challenges, strengthen operations, and unlock new opportunities for growth and compliance.

Jennifer Reoch

Television and Radio Presenter

Returning once more as Host for the day, Jennifer is a regular TV presenter as well as a familiar face to those in the Factoring industry. Jennifer, a former Miss Scotland, can currently be seen on BBC 1 The One Show. She previously worked on BBC travel show 'Getaways', ITV's 'This Morning' Heart Radio and many STV shows such as 'Live at Five'.

Malcolm Perryman

Chief Commercial Officer - The Property Institute

A visionary leader for driving insight and innovation across the built environment. Malcolm brings three decades of diverse sector experience to empower and support TPI members. With deepened expertise in residential property at RICS before joining IRPM. Malcolm now focuses on strengthening TPI’s member offering. He continues to shape relevant, strategic, and forward-thinking solutions that meet the evolving needs of the residential property management profession.

Neil Watt

Chairman - Hacking & Paterson Management Services

Coming into the property management industry in 1982, Neil was instrumental in driving his firm to become Scotland’s largest property factoring practice, where he rose to CEO and presently Chairman. A committed leader within the industry, Neil served twice as President of the Property Managers Association Scotland, guiding its strategic direction during pivotal moments. Neil has advised on the Government’s Housing Improvement Task Force, helping shape landmark legislation on tenement law and in recent times has advised Scottish Government and the Scottish Law Commission on housing management issues.

Robyn Rae

Passionate about people and their property, Robyn’s focus over the past 10 years has been about delivering high level customer service and management. Her current role concentrates on property factoring in the modern age, ensuring her team are equipped and trained to deal with clients’ quires and concerns efficiently, as well complaints and First Tier Tribunal handling. For Robyn high level customer service is always at the forefront of her mind.

Sharon Hannah

Digital Telecare Project Manager - Digital Office for Scottish Local Government

With an emphasis on housing sector engagement, Sharon’s passion lies in using technology to support independent living. With 20 years’ experience in telecoms and a further 20 managing Bield's Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), Sharon is perfectly placed to support the migration from analogue to digital telecare - a role she has previously undertaken at East Renfrewshire Council. Sharon is firmly focused on engaging with housing associations and property managers to review service offerings, help develop digital solutions and provide the guidance needed to move things forward.

Shelley Jacobs ATPI MSc MA BA(Hons) MIoL CBP

Operations Director - Michael Laurie Magar

Driving cultural change around wellbeing and leadership in property. Shelley blends industry experience, having spent most of her career in block management, with behavioural expertise to support healthier, high-performing teams. Shelley uses her insights as a qualified Business Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Coach to deliver impactful training for The Property Institute (TPI). She plays a leading role in shaping best practice through TPI Wellbeing Working Group where she actively promotes awareness, inclusion and meaningful sector support.
