Following the incredible success of last year's event, Connect returns with a day of inspiring speakers, fantastic exhibitors, and valuable conversations throughout the day.

As TPI Scotland continues to evolve, one thing remains clear: ConneXions Matter. Building on that sentiment, Connect 2026 will bring professionals across the Factoring sector together for a day of connecting, learning and meaningful discussion.

The ConneXions started last year. Now it is time to continue them!

Connect is heading to a NEW venue and NEW date, a little earlier than previous years!

How The Day Looks

At 08:30 the doors will open and it will be your first chance to meet the exhibitors who are always keen to help and share their specialist knowledge.

Speakers will then begin at 09:30 prompt with a series of engaging and thought provoking sessions running throughout the day interspersed with breaks, lunch and more opportunities to continue the ConneXions.

As the day draws to an end continue connecting with peers and suppliers at our one hour complimentary drinks reception before heading home at 17:45.

Andrew Bulmer FTPI FRICS

CEO - The Property Institute

Passionate about raising standards across the property management sector, Andrew has been instrumental in shaping the industry’s future. A Fellow of both RICS and The Property Institute, he began his career in PRS and leasehold management before serving as UK Residential Director at RICS. Former CEO of IRPM, Andrew led the organisation through its merger with ARMA and became CEO of The Property Institute. He now focuses on ethical leadership and sector-wide impact, while continuing to elevate the role of property professionals nationwide.

Baroness Hayter of Kentish Town

Chair - The Property Institute

A serving Member of the House of Lords, Dianne is a prominent consumer activist with a long-standing career in politics and the voluntary sector. She has served on numerous councils and panels, to include Legal Services Consumer Panel, the Financial Services Consumer Panel, the National Consumer Council, Alcohol Concern and the National Patient Safety Agency, where she has challenged the paradigm and lead positive change. Dianne’s commitment to TPI, its members and the residential property management sector makes her a strong and propelling Chair focused to driving up professionalism and raising standards.

Jaclyn Mangaroo

Chief Communications Officer - The Property Institute

As the strategic lead for Policy and Communications at TPI, Jaclyn is a driving force in the residential property sector, bringing over 20 years’ senior experience in corporate communications, media relations and public affairs. Since 2019, she has led campaigns that shape policy, raise TPI’s profile and promote best practice. Jaclyn is a trusted industry voice, building strong stakeholder relationships, speaking on net zero, building safety and leasehold reform, and translating complex regulations into clear, practical guidance that helps TPI members protect their businesses and stay compliant.

Jennifer Reoch

Television and Radio Presenter

Returning once more as Host, Jennifer is a familiar and comforting face of Factoring. Jennifer is an experienced RTS Scotland Award-winning Television presenter and Radio broadcaster and event host; having worked for ITV, STV, BBC and Heart Radio amongst many others.

Shaun Lundy

Chief Strategy Officer - Tetra Consulting

A highly respected and trusted voice within health, safety, and fire risk management, Shaun is known for developing creative solutions that deliver meaningful, positive outcomes. A Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and Chartered Building Engineer, as well as a visiting academic and external examiner, he champions professional development, ethics, competence, and leadership across the industry. Shaun is TPI Board Member and IOSH President-Elect. He actively collaborates with the Institute’s Health & Safety Working Group and the IOSH Construction Group, exploring how emerging legislation shapes building safety practice and drives higher professional standards across the industry.

Mark Snelling

Managing Director - Safetymark

Focused on building safety, Mark delivers guidance and training to professional bodies and industry organisations. He also consults and contributes to leading safety steering committees across the UK. A founding Director of the Building Safety Alliance, he led the drafting and development of its organisational capability management standard. Mark serves as health, safety, and fire consultant for The Property Institute, and is a member of the Home Office’s Fire Safety Reform Implementation Group. He also played a key role on the Guidance Technical Group for the revised guide Fire Safety in Purpose-Built Blocks of Flats. Recognised for his expertise and exacting standards, Mark brings depth of knowledge and precision to his work.

Peter White

Associate Director Scotland - Cavendish

With a sharp understanding of government and parliamentary machinery Peter is a well placed and trusted voice. Over the past decade he has worked both inside and alongside Government, having worked at the heart of Whitehall as a Policy Adviser in the Cabinet Office and Home Office, as well as running Private Offices and advising the private sector. Based in Edinburgh, he now runs Cavendish’s Government Relations function in Scotland, advising clients across the energy, housing, defence and tech sectors on their work with Holyrood and Westminster.

Shelley Jacobs

Operations Director - Michael Laurie Magar

A champion of cultural change in wellbeing and leadership across the property sector. With a background in block management and expertise in business psychology, Shelley supports organisations in building healthier, higher performing teams. A qualified Business Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Coach, Shelley leads impactful training for The Property Institute (TPI) and contributes to best practice through the TPI Wellbeing Working Group, promoting awareness, inclusion, and sector-wide support.
