TPI Mentor Circles Programme: Building Confidence, Capability & Connection
A new initiative from The Property Institute (TPI), Mentor Circles pairs property managers with senior leaders from across the residential property management sector.
The programme aims to support personal and professional growth — helping participants strengthen leadership capability, build confidence, and foster meaningful connections across the profession.
Mentor Circles was created in response to findings from TPI’s 2025 Wellbeing & Resilience Survey, which highlighted that members who feel supported report higher wellbeing, stronger engagement, and greater professional satisfaction. By introducing structured mentorship, TPI is helping to nurture the next generation of industry leaders while promoting a culture of collaboration and shared learning.
How It Works
Each mentee is paired with a senior industry mentor for a series of one-to-one online sessions focused on leadership, communication, and professional development.
The programme consists of six sessions (approximately one hour each), ideally spread over a four- to six-month period, providing time for reflection and growth.
Mentors and mentees are matched carefully through a combination of registration form data and compatibility review, ensuring a productive and positive experience for both.
The TPI Mentoring Team provides training, written resources, and ongoing support throughout the mentoring relationship.
Who Can Take Part?
Mentors: Must be qualified to MTPI or above with relevant industry experience and a willingness to guide, support, and share insight.
Mentees: Must have a minimum of two years’ experience within the property management industry and an interest in developing leadership and management skills.
Mentors and mentees work together confidentially, setting goals, sharing experiences, and developing strategies for career and personal growth.

Duration: 4–6 months
Format: Online meetings (1 hour each)
Sessions: 6 per pairing
