To help our members prepare for this transition and build confidence in managing commonhold developments, The Property Institute (TPI) is pleased to offer a free introductory course on commonhold management.

Module 1 – Introduction to the Legal Framework in Commonhold Property Management
Module 2 – Introduction to the Management of Commonhold Buildings
Module 3 – Introduction to Commonhold Company Functions
Module 4 – Introduction to Commonhold Statutory Obligations
Module 5 – Introduction to Commonhold Unit Management
Module 6 – Introduction to Commonhold Finances
Module 7 – Introduction to Commonhold Disputes
Module 8 – Introduction to Commonhold Reform.
Course Format and Duration
- The course materials are openly available to members and can be accessed at any time until 31 May 2026.
- 2 modules are released every 2 weeks, allowing you to learn at a manageable pace
- At the end of each module, you must complete a knowledge test to progress to the next unit
- A certificate of attendance will be issued upon completion
- The full course awards up to 8 hours of CPD.
