A person holding an umbrella walking a pathway

This practical workshop provides a property management overview of mixed-use service charge budgeting and year-end accounting, including how to allocate shared costs, present budgets and accounts clearly, manage reconciliations, and apply relevant RICS, best-practice and residential statutory considerations. VAT treatment is covered as an overview only, helping participants understand where VAT assumptions may affect service charge presentation and when specialist tax advice should be sought.
