What You'll Learn

  • An overview of fire safety legislation and the legal requirement for fire risk assessments
  • How to interpret and understand a fire risk assessment
  • Implementation of fire safety systems in residential buildings
  • Legal responsibilities and enforcement related to fire safety

This course does not qualify you to:

  • Provide formal health and safety advice or act as a competent person under legislation
  • Carry out detailed fire risk assessments required by law
