The Property Institute seeks to set and uphold high standards of staff wellbeing at Member Firms. The Wellbeing Standard is included in TPI’s Consumer Charter and Standards for adoption on a voluntary basis from 1 January 2025. The purpose of this guidance is to help Member Firms manage the wellbeing of their staff and comply with the voluntary Standards should they wish.

This guidance note covers the key issues relating to registers of members. Often, managing agents will be appointed to act as company secretary on behalf of their resident-led clients. This guidance note considers the general position under the relevant law.
